MTES has got donations from 7 states. While we "Walk Across America" let's see if our friends and family can help us fill up the states.

If you’d still like to pre-register your student for our Color Run on April 3rd, you can use this online form to do so!

T-shirts will be available for purchase at the Color Run in limited quantities.

If you have already sent in your permission slip and t-shirt order, you do not need to fill this out. This is just in case you lost your slip, or weren’t planning to attend initially but changed your mind!

Just the morning after information about our upcoming walk-athon fundraiser, and we already have raised $1,275!

Don't forget to get your student registered and SHARE SHARE SHARE! It's as easy as scanning the QR code shown below.

Once 50% of MTES is registered, every student will receive a panther wristband! ✨

T-shirts will be available for optional purchase for the race and an order form for those will be sent home as well. These forms are due back by next Monday, March 9th! Any shirts ordered past this date cannot be guaranteed by race day.

The Miami Trace Elementary School PTO is proud and excited to announce:
The 1st Annual MTES Color Run!

This is an idea that we have had for a few years and with the help of our MTES Admin team, we are excited to finally give it a go!

The Color Run will take place at the conclusion of our 10‑day Team Tressel Challenge and walk-a-thon fundraiser: Walk Across America! You will learn more about this challenge and fundraiser that your child will be completing in the coming weeks.

Parents and guardians, look out for a permission slip and t-shirt order form coming home this week.

Some FAQ about this event:

What is a color run?
- The Color Run is a fun event that will celebrate our school-wide Team Tressel Challenge that promotes fitness and healthy choices for students that will last a lifetime. It will be a non-competitive, untimed run or walk for MTES students in which they will be doused with vibrant, colorful powder at stations along the course. Students are encouraged to wear white to make them as colorful as possible!

When is the color run?
Date: Friday, April 3rd, 2026 (a non-school day)

Time: 11:00 AM

Location: Miami Trace Elementary School Playground area

Participants: For this year, MTES Students ONLY will be running/walking the course. Parents and siblings can watch and cheer on their Panther!

We are looking for sponsors to help cover the cost of holding this inaugural event and have bronze, silver, and gold levels.
