Today marks two years of Elite Diesel Performance, and I honestly can’t believe how far we’ve come.

This has been one hell of a journey. There have been long days, sleepless nights, sacrifices, setbacks, and victories. Through it all, I couldn’t have done it without my two partners, Terrill “T-Boy” and Ray “Jr.” Thank y’all for believing in this dream from day one.

When we started EDP, we knew what we wanted, but we didn’t know everything about running a business. We were just a few wrench-head mechanics with a dream. I knew a little about parts, but none of us had all the answers. What we did have was determination, faith, and people who believed in us when it mattered most.

We also had something to prove.

A lot of people said we wouldn’t make it. Some gave us six months before we’d be knocking on someone else’s door looking for work again. Those words could have broken us—but instead, they fueled us. Every late night, every early morning, every challenge we faced only made us work harder.

Today, we’re celebrating two years in business, and we’ve grown to 37 employees. That may not sound like a lot to some people, but to us, it’s proof that hard work, sacrifice, and never giving up pays off.

Terrill, you’re not just my business partner—you’re my best friend. Ray, you’re not just my cousin—you’re my brother. The three of us talk every single day, and each of us brings something different to EDP. That’s what makes this company work. We trust each other, we push each other, and we never stop believing in what we’re building.

To everyone who supported us, encouraged us, trusted us with your business, and stood beside us—thank you. We wouldn’t be here without you.

And to the people who said I’d never be anything, who said we’d never make it… thank you too. You gave us the fire to keep pushing when we were exhausted. You became the motivation that kept us moving forward every single day.

This dream that I’ve had for so long is finally becoming reality. And we’re just getting started.

Two Years.

On July 27th, Elite Diesel Performance doesn’t just celebrate another year in business—we celebrate every sacrifice, every sleepless night, every setback we refused to let define us, and every person who believed in a dream that many said would never survive.

Two years ago, EDP wasn’t built with millions of dollars or guaranteed success. It was built with faith, grit, determination, and three men who refused to quit.

People laughed.

People doubted us.

Some gave us six months.

Some said we’d never make it.

Some said we were crazy for taking the risk.

But they didn’t see what was happening behind the scenes.

They didn’t see the nights we worked until there was nothing left in the tank.

They didn’t see the stress that kept us awake.

They didn’t see the sacrifices our families made while we poured everything we had into this company.

They didn’t see every dollar that came in go right back out—buying better equipment, building inventory, improving our shop, investing in our people, and creating a company that would never settle for being average.

There were days we questioned ourselves.

There were jobs that tested us.

There were obstacles that would’ve made most people quit.

But quitting was never an option.

Our owners—Shawn, Terrill, and Ray—didn’t build Elite Diesel Performance to be just another diesel shop. They built it to raise the standard.

Today, we’re manufacturing our own components.

We’re shipping power packs across the country.

We’re rebuilding marine engines, locomotive engines, and industrial power systems that keep businesses moving.

We’ve earned the trust of customers who once took a chance on us—and now they keep coming back because they know our word means something.

Everything we’ve accomplished has been earned.

Not given.

Earned.

To every employee who’s put on an EDP shirt and given everything they had—thank you. You are more than employees. You’re family, and this company wouldn’t be what it is without your commitment and pride.

And we’re nowhere near finished.

This anniversary isn’t the finish line.

The next chapter will be bigger.

And we’ll continue doing what we’ve done since day one—putting our customers first, investing back into our company, standing behind every job, and proving that integrity still matters.

As another rebuilt engine heads out the door, we want to take a moment to recognize the people who make it all happen.
To our top-notch mechanics who spend countless hours on the road, away from home, getting our customers back up and running—thank you. Your dedication, sacrifice, and hard work are what keep EDP moving forward. Many of you finish a job in the field and then come back to the shop to help rebuild engines and get them out the door before starting on the next one. Your commitment does not go unnoticed.
The truth is, EDP could not do this without every single employee. From ownership to the office staff, sales team, shop personnel, and field mechanics, everyone plays a critical role in our success.
A special thank you to Kandice, Brianna, and Jessica for everything you do behind the scenes. From quoting jobs and tracking time to HR responsibilities and all the other tasks that keep this company running smoothly, we appreciate you more than you know.
We'd also like to recognize Bryan Chaisson Jr. for bringing in new customers, growing our fast-line business, and helping expand our CAT, Cummins, Detroit, and John Deere engine divisions. Your hard work and dedication continue to help EDP grow.
A huge thank you to Mrs. Brenda for managing ALCO sales, quoting, purchasing, and helping build a strong ALCO division. Alongside Ray, you've helped create a solid foundation for this part of the business, and we are grateful for all that you do.

On the 27th of this month, EDP will celebrate its 2-year anniversary! In just two years, we've grown to 36 employees and continue to knock down doors, create opportunities, and build something special. This is only the beginning of where we want to go.
We are not slowing down until EDP is at the top.

We would like to give a special thank you to the Components Department, who have been working six 10-hour days to keep production rolling. Demand has been incredible, and parts are selling as fast as they are being built. Your hard work, dedication, and commitment are helping keep Elite Diesel Performance moving forward every day.

Another exciting milestone for Elite Diesel Performance!

We are proud to be wrapping up another special project—an EMD 16-645-E engine completely rebuilt at our shop in Houma, Louisiana. This engine is now being prepared for installation into a locomotive for one of our valued customers.

It is an honor to be part of projects like this, and we sincerely appreciate the trust our customers place in us. A huge thank you goes out to our incredible team at EDP whose dedication, craftsmanship, and hard work made this rebuild possible.
