Run for Excellence and Food Fest to take place today despite threat of rain Though the National Weather Service predicts a 30% chance of rain for much of today, The Terrebonne Foundation for Academic Excellence 5K and food festival will take place as planned this afternoon, said event organizer Yolanda Trahan.

If you are a volunteer, a corporate sponsor, Food Partner who needs your shirts or just have a question this is where you need to go...Goode St. in front of the Thatcher Bldg. Oh, and I'm having a little fun with editing:)

Registration will be a little different this year. It will be in the parking lot at the corner of Goode St. & Belanger (across the street from the courthouse square). There is a tent for Pre-registered and for Day of Race registration. Registration opens at 3:00! Please share so we can get you registered and ready for the race quickly.

We spoke to the National Weather Service this morning and we should have a good evening! Yesterday we had to make the difficult decision to CANCEL THE KID'S CORNER ACTIVITIES because we thought the weather would make it unsafe in that area.

There will be great music by SOULED OUT and lots of food and drinks so please join us for a great evening. Gates open at 6:30. Fun run at 5:30 and 5K at 6:00. The Kid's Corner will be back next year! Spread the word!
