Today marks the first day of summer - a season of sunshine, adventure, and making memories. As our communities enjoy all that summer has to offer, you can help ensure children in foster care have someone in their corner every step of the way.

It is also a time to reflect on the importance of equity, opportunity, and ensuring every child has the chance to thrive. CASA remains committed to advocating for the best interests of children and supporting brighter futures for families and communities.

You don’t need a law degree or social work background to become a CASA volunteer. You simply need compassion, commitment, and a willingness to stand up for a child.

On Flag Day, we honor the values our flag represents…including justice, freedom, and hope. At Tri-Lakes CASA, we believe every child deserves the opportunity to grow up in a safe and nurturing environment where their voice is heard. As we celebrate our nation's ideals, we remain committed to advocating for the children who need us most.

699 days. That's how long these siblings spent in foster care before finding their forever family through adoption. Over those 699 days, there were many changes among their court team, but through every transition, one person remained by their side - their CASA volunteer, AJ Walker.

When the adoption was finalized, the kids shared a sweet handwritten note thanking AJ who had been their constant, their advocate, and their voice. THIS is why we do what we do. ❤

Every child deserves someone who will show up, stay committed, and make sure their best interests are never forgotten.
