As Rotarians, our motto is "service above self." The East Fishkill Rotary is a very active club
which meets once a week for a lunch meeting.

Together, we see a world where people unite and take action to create lasting change – across the globe, in our communities, and in ourselves. We hold our meeting Thursdays, beginning
officially at 12:15pm at Daddy O's Restaurant on Route 82, Hopewell Junction. We have consistently won the Rotary
Presidential Citation for our contribution
to both International and local projects. Our members wo

A Wonderful Day at the America 250 Veterans Honor Walk & Run!
On behalf of the East Fishkill Rotary Club, we would like to extend our thanks to everyone who joined us for this special event honoring our nation's veterans.
A special thank you goes to Lance Ashworth for his leadership, dedication, and organizational skills in bringing this event together. Your hard work and commitment helped make the day a success.
Most importantly, thank you to all of our veterans who came out and participated. We are grateful for your service, sacrifice, and continued presence in our community. It was truly an honor to spend the afternoon with you.
We would also like to recognize and thank our fellow East Fishkill Rotary Club members and volunteers who helped organize the event and showed up ready to lend a hand throughout the day. Your teamwork and community spirit were on full display.
A special thank you to Alexandra Vittorini of 4th Wall Productions, whose beautiful rendition of our National Anthem set the perfect tone for the event. Her voice was absolutely inspiring and a highlight of the afternoon.
While the summer heat certainly made itself known, everyone made the most of it! We enjoyed great conversations, shared plenty of laughs, cheered on our walkers and runners, and celebrated the spirit of service and patriotism together.
We enjoyed partnering with our friends from the Manny Bacon American Legion Post 1758 and we
Thank everyone who participated, volunteered, supported, and helped honor our veterans.
Events like these remind us what a strong and caring community we have here in East Fishkill.
Together, we honored our veterans, strengthened our community connections, and created some great memories. We look forward to seeing everyone again next year!

Today was Rotary EPIC day of service -where Rotary clubs unite on a single day to complete hands-on service projects.

The East Fishkill Rotary Club had a wonderful day at the Castle Point VA, planting flowers in all of the raised beds and pots on the rooftop patio for the veterans who live there to enjoy throughout the season.

This project came together because of the generous support from our community. We received several donations and gift cards from many local businesses that helped us purchase supplies and flowers. A special thank you to Sean at Sunny Garden Greenhouses on Route 9D, Sabellico Greenhouses & Florist in Hopewell Junction, Adams Fairacre Farms, Inc. in Wappingers. To Sam's Club for donating potting soil, and our favorite lawn and landscape contact Shawn Perillo of Perillo Property maintenance for sponsoring a beautiful patriotic-themed flower bed. We even had a surprise donation from one of our favorite fill in Rotarian for the day Theresa Sanchez
Our Rotary club members- Christine Manning, Sue DeCosta, Rick Soedler, Christine Ryan, Lisa Argyle, Laura Jones , Nicole Magro, Maria Mahoney & Christine Argiento all rolled up their sleeves to show off their best Martha Stewart style arranging of all the flowers to create magic which brought the whole patio to life.

One of the best parts of the day was meeting and spending time with several of the veteran residents and hearing their stories. We left feeling grateful to have been able to do something special for the men and women who have served our country.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this project possible.

Today members of East Fishkill Rotary got started on our Day of Service project at the Castle Point VA Medical Center Long-Term Care Facility. We spent the day cleaning out flower beds and patio pots to begin transforming the outdoor space into a more welcoming and peaceful place for the veterans who live there.
As we worked, we also discovered another need for the patio area. The facility has six heavy-duty umbrella bases already in place, but unfortunately all of the umbrellas themselves have broken over time and need to be replaced. We would love to help bring some shade and comfort back to this outdoor space for the residents to enjoy during the warmer months.
If any local business, garden center, organization, or community member would be interested in donating outdoor patio umbrellas or helping sponsor this portion of the project, we would be incredibly grateful. Donations of plants, flowers, and container bases are still also very much needed and appreciated.
These small improvements will make a big difference in our veterans day, and we are thankful to everyone helping us continue to do good in the neighborhood.
If you would like to help, please message our page, contact Suzanne DeCosta at 845-518-2731, or email [email protected].

The East Fishkill Rotary Club is proud to support the veterans at Castle Point VA Medical Center with a hands-on planting project to help create a warm, welcoming outdoor space for residents in the Long-Term Care Facility at their rooftop patio(its a beautiful setting with direct views of the Hudson River).

We will be completing this project this coming Saturday May 16th as a group service project and could use your help!

We are currently looking for donations of plants, flowers, soil, (soil donation has been met/thank you!) and gardening supplies, along with community sponsors who would like to support this Day of Service.

The East Fishkill Rotary Club encourages all local business owners and business property owners to attend the Town of East Fishkill Economic Development Annual Meeting this Monday, May 11 at 6PM at Town Hall.
There are a lot of important conversations happening about the future of our town, including plans for growth, infrastructure improvements, zoning updates, and opportunities for business development right here in our community.
This is a great chance to hear what’s coming, ask questions, share feedback, and get involved with the new Economic Development Committee as East Fishkill continues to grow.
We hope to see a strong turnout from our local community Monday night.

Big things are happening at the East Fishkill Rotary Club.
We recently decided to switch things up to better connect with people who have expressed interest in Rotary but can’t attend our usual Thursday breakfast or lunch meetings. To make it more accessible, we introduced a monthly 5:00 PM meeting—and it made an immediate impact.
Our first evening gathering brought in nine prospective new members, including trusted local business owners, members of our personal networks, and individuals from our Facebook community. There was a noticeable energy in the room, with people eager to get involved and begin doing meaningful work in the community.
We care about what we do and the impact we make, and we’re excited about the opportunity to continue growing our club to expand that reach even further.
We had a guest speaker scheduled who unfortunately had to cancel last minute, so our friend Cara Mia Bacchiochi from Hope On A Mission:HOAM stepped in to share her amazing story of comeback and how she is changing the world with her mission to feed, clothe and love the addicted and homeless on the streets of Poughkeepsie.
If you’ve been thinking about getting more involved in the community, we invite you to join us and learn more about Rotary.
We are also always looking for guest speakers. If you have a project, organization, or passion you’d like to share, we welcome you to join us at a breakfast or lunch meeting and now our monthly dinner meeting to tell us more about your mission.
Please message us or email [email protected] to connect.
We’d love to have you be part of it.
