Another bathroom remodel underway in Bluff Park! 🔨

For this project, the homeowner wanted a more functional and accessible bathroom, so we’re transforming the layout to maximize space and storage. The old tub/shower combo is being replaced with a larger walk-in shower that’s easier to enter and exit, complete with a corner bench and smart valve placement so you don’t get sprayed turning it on.

We’re also adding a linen storage closet, a wall-to-wall vanity with better drawer access, and a space-saving barn door to make moving between the bedroom and bathroom easier. The finishing touches will include updated paint, cabinetry, and a refreshed modern look.

On this project, we worked around existing HVAC ductwork and a load-bearing wall while maximizing ceiling height. Instead of a bulky soffit, we created a slanted ceiling transition that softens the space and naturally defines the rooms.

We also added a Jack-and-Jill style bathroom layout so the bedroom has private access—perfect for guests or a future in-law suite.

This home’s basement was left completely unfinished by the builder, so we opened up the staircase, removed walls, and added a modern cable railing with a whitewashed wood top rail to make the entire space feel bigger and brighter.
