Operation Hero is a non-profit 501 (c)(3) #47-5167502 all volunteer organization. Always known to help others whether it was needed or not.

Operation Hero was started to continue the legacy of 1SG Tracy Stapley, who died July 3, 2013 in Qatar on his second deployment. A man who would want all of his brothers and sisters in arms to be honored alongside him. We give back to Gold Star Families, educate service members and their families about the importance of Preparing for the Unexpected. Honor Utah’s Fallen Service Members with over 30

THANK YOU!!

There are not enough words to express my gratitude for all who volunteered, donated and attend the Operation Hero Honor and Remember Utah’s Fallen Service Members events.

Your generosity helps OH to continue giving back and help others in ways of paying rent, buying groceries, paying for a car battery, helping a vet get to their new location to start work, a stair lift and so much more. Our board is humbled and we will continue helping and giving back to the Families of the Fallen, Veterans, and currently serving Service Members, remember our fallen and their families.

If you would like to get involved with Operation Hero as a volunteer or serve on the Board (we are 100% volunteer board) please email [email protected]

Our Opportunity Drawing and Silent Auction are more than just event activities. They are a way for our community to stand beside the families of our fallen service members, veterans, and those currently serving our country.

Because we are a 100% volunteer-run organization, every dollar raised goes directly back into programs, remembrance events, family support, and community outreach that honor service and preserve legacy. We are people with hearts full of purpose and a mission that matters.

When you purchase a ticket, place a bid, donate an item, or simply help spread the word, you are helping us:
• Support families carrying the weight of sacrifice
• Create meaningful memorial events and displays
• Bring communities together in remembrance and gratitude
• Continue honoring those who gave everything for our freedoms

So come browse, bid, participate, and be part of something meaningful. You may walk away with an amazing item, but more importantly, you help ensure our heroes and their families are never forgotten.

Some items include: Mindy Couture blankets, electronic scooter, beautiful photos, corn hole boards, Disneyland tickets and much more.

A sneak peak of our display at the Ogden Union Station. If you are at the Ogden Farmers Market, take a stroll to the Union Station. Amazing items in the silent auction and opportunity drawing. Money raised goes towards helping Families of the Fallen, Veterans and Actively serving Service Members and their families.

Memorial Day is around the corner, and as we all prepare for the weekend, whether it is spending time with family, working or just relaxing. Remember to take a moment to think about those who have paid the sacrifice and their families. Be respectful and find another way to say “Happy Memorial Day”, because for families who have lost a loved one to military service, this weekend they are not celebrating, instead tears and memories are coming to surface.

Families of Fallen Service Members - we see you, we honor you and your Service Member today and always.

Every sign tells a story.

This Memorial Day, Operation Hero’s Legacy Yard Sign Display will stand proudly at The Ballpark at America First Square in South Jordan, Utah, May 19 through May 27, honoring the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our nation.

Each sign from 9/11 to present day represents more than a name.
It represents a life lived in service, a family forever changed, and a legacy that deserves to be seen, remembered, and honored.

As you walk among these stories, pause for a moment.
Read their names.
Reflect on their sacrifice.
Carry their memory forward.

Say Their Name. Tell Their Story. Remember Them All.

Every boot tells a story.

Over Memorial Day weekend, Operation Hero will honor Utah’s fallen service members through our memorial boot display Ogden Union Station in Ogden, Utah, May 22 to 25, 2026.

Each boot represents a life of courage, sacrifice, and service.
Each name carries a story worth telling.
Each hero deserves to be remembered.

We invite our community to come walk among their legacy, say their names, and honor those who gave everything for our freedom.

Say Their Name. Tell Their Story. Remember Them All.
