Edit: Don't forget to change it to HD in your video settings!

Welcome to Oahu's biggest Night Market!

This event started years ago as a small collection of food trucks in a parking lot originally known as, "Eat The Streets". Now, it's taken over an entire block in Salt Kakaako area. The Honolulu Night Market is by far my favorite food event.

There's an endless variety of food from Thai or Filipino to Istanbul or Indian. Don't forget the Hawaiian Food! It's perfect for an indecisive eater like me. I just eat everything!

As I mentioned in the video, this event is held once a month. You have to be diligent about searching for information as there has been so many changes throughout the years. Make sure you're looking at the most up-to-date info so you don't end up showing up to an empty parking lot.

If you're planning on visiting Hawaii, I really hope you are able to make it out to one of these. I hope this video helped with planning your Hawaii adventures. If you have any questions about Hawaii like places to eat or visit please leave a comment. I respond to all of them!

The newest star of my next Food Vlog!

Guess who just discovered the Giant Squid!!!

I’ve seen it all over YouTube on Asian food videos. Thank you for finally settling my curiosity. I didn’t expect the squid to be so soft and plump.

Did any of you try it? What did you think?

Last night’s Honolulu Night Market was one of the best! As it grows in popularity more and more vendors join the party.

I had no problem diverting from my usual spots this time. So many amazing new restaurants and foods.

Get the full Honolulu Night Market and street food experience in my next Food Vlog at KHAMFORFUN on YouTube. Coming soon!

šŸ¤” When is Philippines Independence Day??? (Hint: It’s during Filipino Food Week)

Here’s a look at some of the dishes at the media launch for Filipino Food Week happening June 9-15, 2019! Everything was Filipino inspired so of course there was a lot of pork šŸ˜†. But, I’m definitely not complaining šŸ¤—.

The Pecking Duck spin-off made with crispy pork was definitely my favorite. And don’t those pork Arancino look so perfectly round and beautiful???

This year’s theme is Coconut! Participating restaurants will offer a special dish using coconut. They will be available during Filipino Food Week.

If the amazing food doesn’t entice you, then how about a FREE trip to the Philippines courtesy of Philippine Airline !!!

Get a ā€œpassport stubā€ when you dine at any participating restaurant and you’ll be entered to win!

Participating restaurants on Oahu include, but are not limited to

Don’t forget about Maui!

Here’s one of Oahu’s best kept foodie secrets. Unless someone told you about it, you would have never known this place existed. Tucked away in the second floor in one of the random buildings along Kapahulu Avenue is one of the most authentic Japanese katsu experiences Hawaii has to offer.

Although, it may not be considered so secret seeing as how the wait can be as long as 3 hours 😭. Be late to put your name on the list and you’ll be lucky to even get in before they close. And by late I mean, once they open at 5pm.

They’re a smaller restaurant that cooks everything to perfection so expect to wait. We got there by 4:30pm to put our names down and even then there was already 10 parties ahead of us.

Did I mention they offer UNLIMITED rice and cabbage along with your meal?! šŸ„³šŸ˜šŸ¤— The only time I actually want vegetables with my meal because that goma (I think) dressing they have is addicting.

There’s probably only one other place in this island that can compete with these guys and they’re located in some back alley in Waikiki.

The best places are always the least suspecting. Don’t you agree?

Ever heard of the restaurant NOE at the Four Seasons Resort Oahu at Ko Olina?

This past weekend I had the most unbelievable opportunity to indulge in their culinary affair ā€œThe Taste Of Italyā€.

NOE featured 2 Master Italian Chefs that night. Chef Ryo and Chef Donato, representing the North and South of Italy, respectively.

Together they put together a 5 course Italian meal with wine pairings selected by their very own Sommelier.

It was absolutely one of the most gorgeous and culinarily provoking meals I’ve ever had the privilege of experiencing.

Check out the full video of the event on Facebook or YouTube at KHAMFORFUN. Link is in the bio.

Aloha guys!

David and I are so low key and low maintenance that we rarely ever get fancy and indulge. The Four Seasons Resort is such a special experience not just for us but for any local. We may live in Hawaii but our every day lives are a filled with all work and no play.

Tonight's dinner was something I never imagined I could ever experience. Who would have ever thought a girl from Kalihi would be dining at the Four Seasons, enjoying a 5-course meal with wine pairings prepared by not one, but two Master Italian Chefs. I was obviously a fish out of water trying to pronounce these names lol.

The service was amazing and the ambience was perfect. If you're on Oahu and looking for somewhere extra special to take your friends and family, I definitely recommend NOE.

Chef Ryo and Chef Donato were absolutely amazing. I had no idea what half the things I was eating were but everything made sense. If you took away one ingredient, the dish no longer had the same effect. I'm a simple girl who loves her plate lunch so to experience such a high level of cooking was absolutely mind blowing.

Thank you again to the Four Seasons Resort for inviting us to this once in a lifetime dinner.

New Restaurant Alert!!!

I am so excited to share this with all of you!

David and I literally had the most unexpected and mind blowing food experience ever.

We just ate, hands down, THE BEST curry we’ve ever had in our whole lives! I’m still dazed and confused from it. I don’t even know what just happened.

You guys have to, have to get down to Shirokiya and try out this new food stall.

This is no advertisement. I literally just saw them yesterday and thought I’d try it out. My foodie life is forever changed.

Crazier part is, it’s a Japanese Chef making Indian curry! And he’s doing it better than most Indian curry places I’ve been to.

Curry 1ļøāƒ£: Kankuro Curry with rice (includes steak, sliced hard boiled egg and veggies) - mild

Curry 2ļøāƒ£: Buttery Chicken with Naan (includes chicken, veggie salad and pasta salad with fries) - hot

Comment if you’ve tried it! What did you think about it?
