Today marked the end of an era for me. My beloved Chicago, the Musical on Tour closed for the season. With over 700 performances of Matron Mama Morton under my belt, you can imagine the heartache I feel. Four touring companies of this iconic show for me which began in glorious Seoul, South Korea. Literally a dream came true. Then to be so blessed and honored to continue throughout the United States, Canada and Mexico was the most incredible life I never knew I’d love so much. I want to thank the Chicago family and legacy for trusting me with this legendary role for so long. Our incredible creatives starting me off with as my director. I learned so much from you and I will take it with me always. My current director and choreographer who have continued to instill the strength, humor, heart and wisdom in Mama that she needs and lives by. The incredible music team: , , forever encouraging and always right there for me with words like visions so easy to comprehend. And all of my casts, orchestras, and crews from the past almost 4 seaaons on tour: OMG, you guys! I love you all so much! family is forever and I am so thankful to Apex Touring and for including me in this journey. But mostly…to all the fans of CHICAGO, to my family and friends, and to my precious Moma in heaven, I love you all and hope you will always support LIVE theatre. Until next time…you know the drill! 🌹
