Your GRAMMY® Consideration: My album Liʻulā has been submitted for Best New Age Ambient or Chant Album, and the album’s title track for Best Instrumental Composition.
Liʻulā is me celebrating my Hawaiʻi home and Native Polynesian roots and opening a path to explore what I have always been drawn to - our natural world and the spirits embodied in it and us.
Liʻulā means twilight; that shimmering, in-between hour where day turns to night. It’s the concept my album is built around: a liminal space where the veil thins and Hawaiʻi’s spirits stir.

October 22nd: Liʻulā ~ Cross Into the Mirage. One night only.
Liʻulā is the Hawaiian word for dusk. The twilight hour when light turns soft and uncertain, and shadows begin to move on their own.
On Thursday, Oct 22nd, step through the veil and embark on a full sensory experience.
Drawing from my new album, I’ll use atmospheric harmonics and unconventional ukulele tunings to guide you through stories about Night marchers, sirens, and wandering souls from Old Hawaiʻi. Is what you’re seeing really there?
Inside the 104-year-old Hawaii Theatre, a venue that’s kept its own century of ghosts, I’ll be joined by a grand ensemble to carry us through the twilight hour.

Liʻulā - New Album Out Now.✨
Liʻulā means twilight; that shimmering, in-between hour where day turns to night. It’s the concept my new album is built around: a liminal space where the veil thins and Hawaiʻi’s spirits stir.
Ukulele, moody and moonlit. Featuring a reimagined “Waimanalo Blues,” an original inspired by Nightmarchers, and a farewell song built from the bones of “Aloha ʻOe.”
Ukulele, ambient pads, haunting vocals, ʻuliʻuli, and nose flute, woven together.

‘Auana by Cirque du Soleil’s CD Release Party! 🎉 I had so much fun getting “Cirque-ified” yesterday. Evan Duffy’s music is incredibly fun to play! Add in the ʻAuana musicians, dancers, and makeup, and it became a magical experience.
✨My ukulele playing made it onto the album! It will be released globally on July 17 on all streaming platforms. I can’t wait for you to hear it and experience the magic of ‘Auana by Cirque du Soleil. 🌿

I’m excited to be performing at Honolulu Zoological Society’s Wildest Show this Wednesday, June 17th.
Join me for an evening of music, family fun, and community under the stars in one of Honolulu’s most beautiful settings.
Gates open at 4:30 PM through Gate 6 on Monsarrat Avenue, with plenty of activities before the show, including educational exhibits, keiki coloring, ʻukulele giveaways, lucky drawings, and more. Opening entertainment begins at 4:45 PM, featuring talented On the Rise artists from the Henry Kapono Foundation, and I’ll take the stage at 6:00 PM. 🙋🏽♀️
