A Great day for Tee Off Thursday at Mililani Golf Course!

Made some improvements but back to the drawing board!

My Swing with the Driver needs some finesse. Starting to fade a little this round. Little tweaks here and there and Ill get there. Tried putting a stronger left hand grip to reduce the fade and came out straighter!

Also, working on my follow through is one of the important things I need to work on.

The short game chipping helped me recover from difficult spots onto the green

Working on my putting is starting to pay off! Reading the greens better and calculating the speed and break is improving!

Things to remember about the short game:
1) Keep your feet closer together for better control
•
2)Slightly shift your weight to your front foot to go through the ball and roll up the club face
•
3)Keep your elbows apart helps with consistency
•
4)Keep your hands in front of the ball through the swing. And use your shoulders
•

Had a fun day at Pearl Country Club yesterday🏌🏼‍♂️. My score didn't show the numbers I wanted but I see the progress coming along📈

1. Huge improvements with my driver🏎💨. (Except a few sliced drives into the trees, 🌲🌳🌴AKA in Jail)
✅Get the right tempo, don't overswing❗️🏌🏼‍♂️💫

2. Irons are also finding consistency👍🏼
✅Working on understanding where clubface is on my backswing & follow through❗️
⏪Before, on my backswing I had a tendency bringing it up having a closed face, resulting in low shots or hookers.

3. For putting, I am learning to not just aim for the line, but the right speed.
✅Having the right line up is a good thing but not if you ram it passed the hole, or leave it short. ⛳️ ❗️

Overall, I am seeing improvements all-around and Im Loving it. 🙏🏼 Learn to love the process 🤙🏼
