I am so honored to receive ALL "A"s from Ka Lahui Hawaii, along with my colleague Rep. Mahina Poepoe. While this is just a small snapshot of the work we do, this "report card" is meaningful to the process of holding Hawaii's Representatives accountable to our constituents. I know I will not always get it right, and I appreciate that organizations like Ka Lahui Hawaii will let me know I can do better. 🙂

Ka Lāhui Hawaiʻi is proud to announce the return of our KOHO PONO Legislative Report Card for the 2025 Hawaiʻi State Legislative Session — an educational tool to empower our Lahui.

The people of Hawaii deserved more than “incomplete” protections from the Trump regime - the State Legislature should have completed its work during the Special Session it failed to convene.

Rep. Kim Coco Iwamoto: Why No Special Session For The Hawaiʻi Legislature? - Honolulu Civil Beat Residents now must wait until next year to tackle pressing problems like protection for immigrants, funding for nonprofits and finding new revenue streams.
