Congratulations to Hawai'i Public Schools and Health Association of Hawaiʻi on the opening of the first high school health learning lab at Waianae High School! This ʻAulama I Ke Ola initiative is a multi-year effort to create a best-in-nation network of learning labs across Hawaiʻi's public high schools with a focus on unrepresented communities.

Closed out 2025 with a quiet reset. As 2026 unfolds, that clarity carries forward, ready and focused for purposeful work and more adventures.

U.S. Senator Daniel Kahikina Akaka (1924-2018) brought people together simply by his presence. As a former staffer, I observed how he always led with kindness, humility, and unity. His words and actions of aloha continue to guide me, especially during difficult times.
Aloha is listening when it’s easier to talk, showing grace when it’s hardest to give, and choosing compassion over division.
Good vibes were in full effect at Wahine Forum today! Appreciated the insights, laughter, and real talk. Mahalo for the opportunity to share tips on Strengthening Your Presence and connect with awesome wāhine. 🙌🏽🫶🏽
