The 515 AMOW welcomed Col. Tyler S. Robertson and Chief Master Sgt. Manuel Garibay as the new commander and command chief of the 515th Air Mobility Operations Wing while bidding farewell to Col. Jens D. Lyndrup and Chief Master Sgt. Jake Fason as they officially relinquished command, June 24, 2026.

Last week, Col. Johnathan Baize, 515th Air Mobility Operations Wing deputy commander, visited our Airmen at the 515th Air Mobility Operations Group (AMOG) , 730th Air Mobility Squadron and 733d Air Mobility Squadron.
For his initial visit to West PAC, Col. Baize was introduced to the unique mission sets the 730 and 733 AMS experience while supporting Air Mobility Command within the Indo-Pacific region.

Building readiness through partnership.
Airmen from the 515th Air Mobility Operations Wing Regional Training Center traveled to Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland to explore new opportunities to increase hands-on C-5 maintenance training with the 433rd Maintenance Group and 433rd Aircraft Maintenance Squadron.
By working together, both organizations are creating opportunities to strengthen technical proficiency, improve readiness, and build long-term maintenance capability across the Air Mobility enterprise.
Relationships are the foundation of mission success. Through collaboration, innovation, and shared commitment, our Airmen continue to build enduring partnerships that strengthen global air mobility and ensure we remain ready to deliver anytime, anywhere.

Last week, 515th Air Mobility Operations Wing leadership visited the 735th Air Mobility Squadron on Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam to engage with Airmen and gain insight into the squadron's efforts to strengthen readiness and improve operations.
Throughout the visit, leaders learned about locally developed innovations, safety enhancements, passenger terminal improvements, and a first-hand look at the tabletop exercise the 735 AMS created, which has since evolved to engage all AMS's in the Wing. The visit also included meaningful discussions between leaders and Airmen, reinforcing the Wing's commitment to empowering its people and advancing the mission.

The 515th Air Mobility Operations Wing leadership team recently completed their final visit to Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson - JBER, spending time with the Airmen of the 715th Air Mobility Operations Group and 732d Air Mobility Squadron.
During the visit, the commander and command chief focused on what matters most—connecting with Airmen, hearing their perspectives, and recognizing the vital role they play in projecting global mobility from the Arctic.
Thank you to the Airmen of the 715th AMOG and 732nd AMS for the warm welcome and for all you do to support the mission.
