So glad we could be a part of this effort. Our group huddled at my daughter Kate's home to do the packing. Our two granddaughters managed this effort with there two friends along with and the Luscombe family. It was great fun and a wonderful cause. Beer 🍺 butt chicken on the grill with all the fixings after a fun day. Put a nice rub on, stuffed some garlic cloves under the skin. Place an open can of beer 🍺 in the cavity that also holds the chicken up right. Temp set at 350 degrees and came back 1 1/2 hours later for a spimple and very moist chicken 🐓. This is also the prime season for home grown tomatoes. Think we did good

Visit to The Ringling in Sarasota Florida. Monday is always free. Nice place to walk around and see the arts and gardens.

Look over Tampa Bay, see the Sunshine bridge, fish on the pier if you like, listen to live music, enjoy lunch and/or have a cold drink. Wonderful place to watch the day go by and people watch. Anna Maria Island wonderful place to stop.

Owens Fishcamp Sarasota Florida. Early evening outside listen to live local music, enjoy a cold beverage along with steamed oysters and boiled peanuts. Then if it is busy inside there is a very good outside menus. Jambalaya is my favorite.

Siegfried restaurant by downtown Sarasota is a wonderful find for great German food along with a good ale 🍺. Friday special we had was a hock with kraut along with mashed potatoes. Plan to head back with family when all in town
