When so much around us changes, there is so much comfort in knowing that Christ does not. His character, His presence, and His promises remain steady and constant.

Our sweet C**t is a happy, living life to the fullest, wild little boy. He is five years old and is rockin an extra chromosome. We think his extra chromosome gives him some super powers. He loves people so well and brings out the best in everyone. On 7/28/26, our world came crashing down around us when we found out he had B cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. Our sweet boy has already been through so much including being born at 26 weeks, a long NICU stay and open heart surgery. We know this is one more battle on his journey, and he is a fighter, so we are believing for complete healing for him. It’s a journey we hoped to never have to walk but we will lean on the Lord and take this day by day.

When we prayed for God to strengthen our faith, we never imagined the path He would use to answer us.

When Samuel was just two and a half, God led doctors to find a tumor in his chest. After days of exhausting tests and major open-chest surgery, we received the terrifying news: Stage 3 Acute T-Cell Lymphoblastic Lymphoma.

His doctor told us that without that discovery, we were likely only days away from losing him.

Through every painful step of treatment, Samuel amazed us. He carried an incredible, courageous joy that could only come from God. Day after day, we watched in awe as the Lord sustained him—and wrapped our entire family in love through an amazing community of friends, care teams, and support organizations.

Today, we are overwhelmed with gratitude to share that Samuel is in remission and truly thriving. We don’t know what tomorrow brings, but we rest fully in the hands of our good God, who holds our sweet boy’s future.“

Today, as we remember and honor the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and the families and communities who continue to carry that loss, we’re reminded of the importance of carrying one another through prayer.

Join us for fellowship and light refreshments as we gather to pray for, by name, children and families impacted by childhood cancer. This month is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and we are doubling down on the importance of lifting these sweet families up in prayer. We would love to pray alongside you! If you can't join us in person, we would love for you to set an alarm for the same time, 9:00 am, and unite with us in prayer from wherever you are.
