Everglades Fruit

I ate way too much dragon fruit and jackfruit today…

Our our cashew tree lost a lot leaves this winter. Now its got new leaves and flowers! Planted a year ago as a 7 gallon.

Harvested this Jackfruit earlier this year. I am not sure of the variety, fairly firm flesh. Any thoughts on variety name?🤔

Sunset solo Papaya. I had thought these would be smaller plants, but already pushing 20 feet 16 months after the seeds were planted.

Turpentine Mango in full bloom. Not one of the fancy new varieties in Florida, but the root stock they all grow on. I am thinking this tree may be more than 40’years old.

Some of the turmeric we have been growing out for rhizomes in large pots. In late fall we collect the rhizomes and plant in the ground this winter. The medicinal qualities of the phytochemicals in this plant are well documented.
