Chasing Bliss Photography

I haven’t picked up my camera in months… I haven’t felt very inspired and my life has been so busy with other responsibilities, projects, and tasks. I started to play with some older images today, like this one, to help get the creative juices flowing again. Hoping to do more fun things with photo editing during these inspiration slumps!

And now a selection of vertical images from our Everglades and Big Cypress trip. It’s hard to pick a favorite but I was lucky to have caught that wood stork before he flew away so I’m happy with that one!

Mammoth Hot Springs was such an interesting sight. While I chose to make these photos greyscale, the colors of the falls shift with the seasons like leaves. I just couldn’t get over the trees getting taken over by the travertine. ———————————————————————-

How about some elk for your hump day afternoon? We saw a lot of elk on our trip through Yellowstone, but these three we captured in Grand Teton were just amazing. We watched as one buck tried to herd a lone female into his group… but then a larger buck approached, bugled once, and scared off the smaller buck to claim his prize. 😅 🦌———————————————————————-

Get ready for an onslaught of photos from Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks! Between all four of my cameras I probably took over 1500 photos. I see lots of culling, editing, and stagnation over picking photos to post in my future!
