Smart Source Seafood is a family run fishing business based in Homer, Alaska. Each summer, we fish for wild sockeye salmon in Bristol Bay, the world's largest salmon fishery. We handle each fish we catch with care and take great pride in providing Alaska seafood of exceptional quality. We flash freeze our seafood within hours of being caught to lock in the super fresh, "just caught" taste. Our seafood is always wild, always sustainable, and always delicious.

The kids had a school-wide beach day yesterday. Lots of excitement, lots of smiles, and better weather than we expected 🙌

Mike makes hundreds of these king salmon jerky sticks before each season. It’s such an awesome superfood to get them through the season.
He brines them overnight, lightly smokes, and hangs them in our cold smoker for couple days. They’re incredibly delicious 😋 He has to hide them, or we’ll gobble them all up!

Each summer, Mike heads to Bristol Bay to harvest sockeye salmon aboard our 32-foot gillnetter, the F/V Courageous. He and his all-star crew catch tens of thousands of pounds of salmon.

All preorders ship in October. We use eco-friendly insulated boxes and dry ice. Your fish will arrive in excellent condition.
