Our Ready, Set...........ART! event on April 5 was a big success! People reported having a great time and we added $5500 to our scholarship fund!

The sandhill cranes are back. Shorebirds are flocking. Songbirds are returning. Let's celebrate birds! Ptarmigan Arts Gallery's "Wings Over Homer" show of bird-themed art does just that. You'll find original paintings, glasswork, jewelry, fabric arts, prints and cards, mosaics, woodturnings and carvings, coasters, bookmarks, stickers, and magnets -- all items may be taken at time of purchase. The show runs through May 28. Open 7 days a week, 10 am to 6 pm.

Ptarmigan Arts Gallery and Grace Ridge Brewery, pulled off another terrific fund raiser for our Scholarship fund! We get to offer local students money to pursue the arts!! Here are some photos of the Ptarmigan artists who participated. Thanks to the Homer community who came out and supported the next generation and to the artists who gave of their creations and time.
