Magic Presents: Pride Commander

For the Magic Presents: Pride event, players treat all eligible commanders as though they had the partner ability. This allows players to add an additional commander to a deck they already have or use a never-before-seen combination of two commanders to helm a totally new deck.

Commanders that already have abilities like partner won’t let players have more than two commanders at this event, but we applaud their enthusiasm. Remember that the extra commander still counts toward the 100 cards in their deck.

Aside from that additional rule, normal commander rules and ban lists apply.

DECK MUST BE BRACKET 3 OR LESS

This is a casual commander event. We encourage a relaxed, social atmosphere focused on fun and inclusion.

Each participating player receives one promo card and pin, while supplies last.

What Is Two-Headed Giant Commander Night?
Two-Headed Giant Commander Night is a new Commander event in which players can earn promo cards by pairing up to battle other two-player teams. Each player has their own 100-card Commander deck, but they share a 60-point life pool. Play follows the normal Two-Headed Giant rules.

Play, plan, and battle as a team. In Two-Headed Giant, the life total is shared and starts at 60 life. In Two-Headed Giant, each two-player teams shares a starting 60 life and takes their turn simultaneously. The team does not share any other resources other than life. For instance, any reference to "you" on a card still applies to the individual holder.

Effects that read "each opponent" or "each player", however, affect each team member separately. Players can block any creature(s) that are attacking them, their teammates or
Planeswalkers their team controls.
The team that goes first skips their first draw step.
Commander: 99 card deck + a Commander card.
There is no unified construction, though each player's deck should be a legal Commander deck by itself.
Each team starts with 60 life.
A team loses when they take 21 or more damage from a single commander OR have 15 or more poison counters.
