Can’t be all work and no play. Went for a beach drive and agate hunting last night. I only found an old net with cedar corks!

First bale made today with the new crew! Meet Julienne who makes incredible fish fin and skin jewelry (and donates a portion of the proceeds to NYP!) and Kiana .harding. Nicole’s Dad you should already know :). Follow along for updates over the next 10 days from one of our favorite recycle spots, the eastside of Bristol Bay, Naknek Alaska. If you have ever eaten wild sockeye salmon, chances are it came from this amazing corner of the world.

Some people spend their summers at their beachfront mansion, some at a lakefront “cabin”. We spend part of our summer in a shipping container with no plumbing that we built with our bare hands (Thanks Mamma, Dadda, and for your help!) and we couldn’t be happier. Our summer residence recycling in Bristol Bay has begun. Crew arrives tonight. LFG!
