Every table, workstation, and press was busy with people making things happen.

Transitions Academy, Sunshine Village, and Riverside Industries were all in the shop producing items to sell at their upcoming pop-ups. Across the room, MassHire youth interns were producing signs for the Holyoke Garden Tours, pressing volunteer shirts for Holyoke Pride, and creating signage for the Rainbow Run.

This is exactly what the Print Shop was built for: a shared creative workspace where students, artists, entrepreneurs, nonprofits, and community organizations can learn new skills, make professional-quality products, and support one another’s work.

On any given day, you might find stickers being cut, shirts being pressed, signs being printed, and new skills being learned—all under one roof.

🚀 What if your summer project became a real business?

At Launch Lab, students don't just make art—they create a brand, design products, learn marketing basics, and turn ideas into something they can actually share with the world.

Over two weeks, participants will work with professional design software, printers, apparel equipment, and production tools at the Print Shop Makerspace in downtown Holyoke. They'll create logos, merchandise, promotional materials, and present their work at a final showcase.

🎨🚀 Launch Lab is almost here!

This summer, middle school students will spend two weeks designing, making, printing, building, and creating at the Print Shop in downtown Holyoke.

Participants will explore graphic design, photography, printing, apparel decoration, stickers, buttons, signs, and more while working alongside artists, makers, and creative professionals.

If your child loves art, making things, technology, or just trying something new, Launch Lab is a great way to spend part of the summer.

A busy Sunday at the Print Shop - artists on iPads, members designing graphics, shirts rolling off the heat press, and community projects moving from idea to finished product.

From first drafts to final products, our members use the shop’s tools, equipment, and shared knowledge to make things real - from their heart to their hands. Whether creating stickers, launching a brand, printing event materials, or learning a new skill, there’s always something in motion here.

The presses are hot, and the creative energy is contagious.

From sketchbook vibes to sticker sheets, House of Color director Azy the artist has been turning the Print Shop into a full-on kawaii production line all week in preparation for the Q***r Prom.
