Happy birthday to UAP athlete .marsh7
When he’s not killing it on the track he’s blowing it up in the marching band! Hope you had a great day 😀

If you are a track athlete you know how hard it is to get any real training done on the track when it’s freezing and snow is on the track. Our new high speed treadmill will allow you to train year round for those longer sprints. It can reach speeds of 28mph!
marsh7 sprinting 20mph on the treadmill.

Made some important changes to ._.poir block start today. This was after 15 minutes of coaching. In the top video she learned how to fully extend her hips through while launching off the blocks.
We also taught her how to sweep her front foot forward after toe off to increase horizontal force production
Making some important changes to ._.poir block starts tonight. The top video is after about 15 minutes of coaching! What a difference it makes when an athlete learns what it means to hit full extension through the hips when launching out of the blocks
We also taught her how sweep her front foot through after toe off which allows for more horizontal force production
Absolutely loving this drill! Resist the early part of the drive phase and then release weight as we get into the higher speed where relaxation is key and stride frequency starts to increase.
Competition brings out intensity! Intensity is one of the leading factors of success in training. You can’t just go through the motions. Every rep and set must be as hard as you can go. Only then do you see the real results of training.
The best speed exercise that you’re not doing!
This is a drill I’ve wanted to set up for a long time. The reason is because resistance can help athletes accelerate up to 20-30yds. However anything over 20-30 yards should be trained with no resistance as top speed requires an athlete to create more vertical forces compared to the horizontal forces applied during acceleration.
This drill allows an athlete to overload their acceleration phase and then releases the weight as the athlete starts to rise and create more vertical forces in top end speed.
