Your skin prep matters just as much, if not more than the makeup products themselves. Makeup can only look as good as the canvas it sits on, and this beautiful bride truly did her part by following her prep instructions.
The “before” photo was taken at her trial, and the “after” on her wedding day. Over the months between, she committed to a consistent routine and improved her skin’s texture so much. That dedication makes such a difference in the final result.
On the wedding day, I began with luxury skin prep to create a glowy, radiant, skin-like base. I then used a traditional foundation and finished with a light airbrush layer to lock everything in for long-lasting wear. I absolutely love using this technique on my brides!

When you read the back of the shampoo bottle, and it says REPEAT, do you?

Shampooing twice helps get your hair and scalp truly clean!

Here’s what each wash does:
First shampoo = cleans the surface
Removes oil, sweat, product buildup, dry shampoo, pollution, etc.
This wash often doesn’t foam much because it’s breaking through buildup.

Second shampoo = cleans the scalp + hair thoroughly
Now that buildup is gone, the shampoo can actually cleanse your scalp and hair properly.
You’ll usually see more lather on the second wash.
Helps with healthier scalp, better volume, and cleaner hair that stays fresh longer.

When it’s especially helpful:
If you use styling products or dry shampoo
If your hair gets oily quickly
If you go several days between washes
If you have dandruff or scalp issues
If your hair is very dry, curly, or fine, sometimes one gentle shampoo is enough — it really depends on your hair type and how dirty it is!

Follow this rule if thumb: If the first shampoo barely foams → you definitely need two.
If it foams right away and hair feels clean → one may be enough!

I’m a versatile bridal makeup artist — from natural to full glam. I customize your look to fit your exact vision, even if your bridesmaids all want something totally different. I’m also very comfortable working with mature skin (yes, moms are absolutely taken care of 😉).

But, if I’m being honest, my heart belongs to natural–soft glam. A soft, seamless base and natural to soft glam eye is my favorite look to create. I want you to look like you — just the most elevated, confident, hottest version you could ever imagine of yourself! I focus on makeup that feels comfortable, skin-like, lightweight, and lashes that aren’t poking you or driving you crazy.

I take my time. If you’re looking for super fast services, I’m not your artist. I typically book:

• 2–2.5 hours for the bride
• 1.5–2 hours for bridesmaids and moms
• plus setup time and buffer time (because wedding mornings get chaotic fast!)

Beautiful glam that lasts 12+ hours takes time — and padding the schedule helps keep your morning calm and stress-free.

I prefer smaller groups — 3–5 services is my happy place.

Trials are always available, whether you’ve officially reserved your date or not. Moms or maids of honor are welcome to book one too. I do ask that you come alone so we can chat, connect, and focus in a calm space. At your trial I document every detail. I take notes and photos so I can recreate your look perfectly on the big day. Honest and open communication is eveything. You will not hurt my feelings by speaking up if you want something modified. Makeup is art, and we can adjust things — just tell me how you’re feeling.

Good makeup starts with good skin. The more care you put into prep before your wedding, the better your results will be. Makeup can’t erase texture, wrinkles, or change your face shape, please dont expect to look AI. My goal is real, beautiful you.

I’ll be checking in with you constantly. My intention is for you to feel calm, cared for, and exquisitely prepared. And along the way I will fill you in with some product knowledge, tips and tricks if interested.
