This Memorial Day, we at Koops pause to honor the courageous men and women who gave their lives in service to our nation.

Their sacrifice is not forgotten. We’re grateful for the freedoms they made possible and take a moment to reflect on what this day represents.

After fifteen years of service, we’re proud to celebrate the retirement of Larry Van Huis.

As a machinist, Larry has brought years of precision, pride in his work, and a commitment to excellence to the Koops team. Larry has made a lasting impact by mentoring many interns, co-ops, and new Team Members over the years, sharing his knowledge and helping develop the next generation of skilled talent.

While we will certainly miss Larry, we’re excited to wish him "Happy Trails" as he begins volunteering with the National Park Service.

Thank you, Larry, for fifteen outstanding years. Wishing you all the best in your well-deserved retirement and this exciting new adventure!

This recognition reflects the hard work and dedication of our entire team, thank you to everyone who makes this possible.

Yesterday, our team had a great time participating in Michigan West Coast Chamber of Commerce’s Community Impact Day.

Employees volunteered at several locations around the community, including planting trees at a local park, sorting food and completing spring clean up projects at Community Action House, helping with post Tulip Time Festival clean up, and supporting Renew Therapeutic Riding Center.

It was a rewarding day and a great opportunity to give back to the communities where we live and work.
