Congratulations to Fadile Khaoua on 25 years at JR Automation!🎉

Fadile joined JR Automation in 2001 as a Controls Engineer and Robotician. He later advanced to Senior Controls Engineer and now serves as a Sales Application Engineer.

His favorite memory was when he and his team helped finish a drive shaft assembly line, where they faced many difficulties and were unsure if they could finish. But through team collaboration, they succeeded in fulfilling the customer’s requirements. To this day, this line serves as a benchmark for the customer and continues to produce products.

His best advice to those who want to start a career in automation is to be patient, be curious, and listen to experienced people.

Congratulations to Josh Owings on 30 incredible years at JR Automation!🎉

Josh began his journey with JR Automation in 1996 as a Systems Technician, where he replaced PC components and troubleshot operating systems. Over the years, he has held roles such as Network Engineer and ERP Applications Administrator. In 2021, Josh took on the role of Director of Enterprise Applications, where he now oversees the entire Enterprise Applications portfolio.

What Josh enjoys most about working at JR Automation is tackling larger projects and contributing to the company’s growth and success.

His best advice is to believe in yourself and be patient. Growing your career takes time and effort, and be willing to listen more than you speak.

Last week, team members from our Holland, Michigan, location took time out of their day to work alongside nonprofits and municipalities during the Michigan West Coast Chamber of Commerce Community Impact Day.

During the event, volunteers from the area helped with cleaning, organizing, weeding and landscaping, painting, and much more.

Thank you to everyone who took part and contributed to making a positive community impact!

Congratulations to Ryan Walker for being named one of the Auburn Hills Chamber of Commerce Tomorrow’s 20 Award Honorees!

He was also the winner of the 2026 Pillar Award. This award recognized the individual that the committee feels best represents the spirit of one of the three pillars: Community, Innovation, and Leadership.

Ryan is currently the Mechanical Project Engineering Manager at our Detroit Division and has been with JR Automation since 2015. Recipients are selected based on their passion, innovation, charity, community, inclusion, business forward-thinking, and how they are shaping the lives of others.

"It is an honor to be recognized as a Tomorrow's 20 award recipient, and to be the winner of the 2026 Innovation Pillar Award! I would like to thank my mentors at JR Automation for being so supportive and shaping me into the leader I have become, " states Ryan Walker.

Congratulations to Bob Lundgreen for 20 years at JR Automation!👏

Bob began his time at JR Automation as a Senior Mechanical Engineer, serving in that role until 2018 when he stepped into his current position as a Project Manager.

Looking back, one of his favorite memories is leading a battery test and load project for an automotive company.

His best advice for anyone building a career in manufacturing is to surround yourself with great teammates. Bob knows the value of this firsthand, having worked with the same core group of people for the past 14 years.

The JR Automation Nashville Division is hosting Their First-Ever Charity Car Show: Cruise-In for a Cause!

Attendees can show off their ride, spend a great day with family and friends, and support a meaningful cause. Vehicle registration is now open, and BBQ will be available for purchase from Gut Instinct BBQ. 🚗

All proceeds from the event will be matched dollar for dollar by JR Automation and donated to Stepping Stones Safe Haven, supporting women and children experiencing homelessness.

A panel of judges will award prizes to the top three vehicles, so bring your best!
