Machined an equalizer bar, and main frame center pin on a 963B. The main frame was machined as a dead hole. This means we could not have a bearing set up on the inside, we had to do an intermediate bearing in between the pin bosses. This is because the fuel tank is set in the frame right up against the bore, and would otherwise have to be removed.

Here was an interesting project from yesterday evening. Had to bore these 3 holes out of position. Ended up running a 14in piece of hydraulic hose as our universal joint. And worst of all I finally had to sacrifice my long boring bar to be able to fit in the given area.

Here was a project we did that turned out to be a bust. This is a final drive housing on a D6R dozer. The bolts came loose allowing the sprocket to swing down and and sheer off the fl**ge. We machined the remainder of the old fl**ge off and cut a new fl**ge and machined it to a press fit. However for some reason no matter what we did the welds continued to Crack out even with high nickle filler. In the long run we ended up having to call it a loss and buy new.

We recently completed a new build bucket. We designed this bucket with the help of HillCo LLC, who drew it up in CAD for us.
The bucket is a 64in wide bucket specifically designed for scraping extremely hard limestone rock away from support pillars almost 800ft underground. The bucket was designed and built with the use of hardened bolt-on wear edge off of a CAT scraper to extend the life of the cutting edge.
No hardfacing was used as of yet, but my be added at a later date to further extend the life of the bucket.

The shop #2 has begun finally. This shop will be set up with our cnc tables, press brake, and material storage. The intention for this building is to have office space, clean fabrication and production fabrication of batch parts. But we are still putting a door in large enough to get some big equipment in.
It's been a very busy summer with a lot of big events taking place. Hopping that as we move into the winter we can start getting some posts put up and get everyone up to date.
