"June 28–30 is the single busiest 3-day moving window in New Jersey every year.

Most NJ leases end July 1. Every person with a July 1 move-out needs to be out on June 30. All of them. At the same time.

What happens when you wait:
→ Every licensed, insured moving company fills up
→ You take whoever is still available
→ Whoever is still available may not be licensed, insured, or transparent about pricing

We still have a small number of June 28–30 slots.

If your lease ends July 1 - or you know someone whose does - share this now.

"Jersey City high-rise moves have their own rules. Here's what actually changes:

1. COI required - most managed buildings need a Certificate of Insurance from your mover before the crew can enter. We provide one on every job, free.

2. Elevator reservations - 48 hours in advance through your building management. Miss the window and the crew waits at the door.

3. Parking logistics - Hudson Street, Newark Ave, and downtown JC have timed zones and permit requirements. We factor this into your schedule.

4. The building rules on the OTHER end matter too - if you're moving into Hoboken or Bergen, those buildings have their own requirements.

We've done hundreds of JC moves. Our team asks all the right questions before quoting - no surprises on move day.

Tag someone moving in or out of JC this summer.

"There are two types of movers showing up at your door on moving day.

Contractors: sourced from a labor pool, sometimes the morning of your move. No background check standard. No training requirement. No long-term accountability.

W-2 employees: hired, trained, background-checked. This is their career, not a side gig.

Ola Moving uses W-2 employees on every single job. When you see our truck pull up, you know exactly who's walking through your door.

"Something most people don't know about the moving industry:

A lot of ""moving companies"" are actually brokers. They take your booking, then subcontract the actual move to whoever is available. You booked Company A. Company B shows up. Sometimes Company C.

Ola Moving does not broker jobs.

When you book with us, our crew does your move. The same company you called. The same W-2, background-checked movers. The same insurance. The same commitment to the estimate we gave you.

We're not a middleman. We're a moving company.

"Moving from New York City to New Jersey is not the same as moving across town.

Here's what actually changes:

1. Your NYC building likely requires a COI from the moving company. We handle this as standard.

2. NJ buildings have different access requirements — elevator reservations, parking permits, loading dock rules. We know them.

3. The George Washington Bridge moves differently than the tunnels. We cross early, before traffic builds.

4. NJ leases work on different timelines than NYC leases. Move-in windows are tighter. We account for this in your schedule.

We've moved hundreds of people from Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens to Hoboken, Jersey City, Montclair, Maplewood, and Bergen County.

If you're making this move this summer — tag someone who needs to see this."

"Not every mover in New Jersey is the same. Here are 4 things worth checking before you book anyone.

1. Are the movers W-2 employees or contractors?
W-2 = hired, trained, background-checked. Contractors = sourced from a pool, sometimes the morning of your move.

2. Is the estimate binding or non-binding?
Binding = the quoted price is the final price. Non-binding = the price can be adjusted on move day. Neither is wrong — but you should know which one you have before you sign.

3. Can they provide a COI for your building?
Most managed buildings in Hoboken, JC, and Bergen County require one. Ask if it's included or extra.

4. Are they FMCSA licensed?
Look up their US DOT number at safer.fmcsa.dot.gov. An unlicensed mover has no accountability.

We check all four — on every job.
