HSG is honored to represent the NJ Civic Information Consortium and to see its impact extending well beyond New Jersey.

As the first of its kind, the NJCIC is now serving as a blueprint for states across the country. From Pennsylvania to Oregon, and many states in between, policymakers are introducing legislation to establish their own civic information consortia, with the NJCIC leading by example.

This growing momentum is a powerful testament to what thoughtful policy and strategic investment in local journalism can achieve.

Last week, Hoboken Strategy Group was honored to attend Governor Mikie Sherrill’s “First 100 Days” event at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center.

Our President & CEO Kay LiCausi, and Associate Rebecca were proud to hear Governor Mikie Sherrill reflect on the progress made in her first 100 days and share her vision for a more affordable and safer New Jersey.

Her focus on transparency, accountability, and delivering results for residents highlights her strong commitment to moving the state forward. We are excited to follow the continued impact of her leadership!

Last week, HSG President & CEO Kay LiCausi joined Assembly Majority Leader Louis Greenwald at an event in his honor. HSG is proud to join in the celebration of Majority Leader Greenwald’s leadership and tireless advocacy on behalf of the people of New Jersey.

Last week, National Infertility Awareness Week was recognized across the country. HSG is proud to have helped raise visibility around this deeply personal, yet often overlooked, challenge that many individuals and families face. Infertility affects 1 in 6 people worldwide, yet it is still not widely discussed. Creating space for awareness, education, and advocacy is essential to fostering more transparent conversations and expanding access to care and support.

We thank everyone who joined us in amplifying this message and bringing attention to the experiences of those navigating infertility. Your leadership helps move this conversation forward and promotes meaningful impact.

Hoboken Strategy Group continues to expand its communications capabilities and client service excellence with the addition of Monica Freibott as Communications Associate.

Monica brings a strong background in public affairs and strategic research, holding a master’s in Public Administration and a bachelor’s in Political Science with minors in Marketing and Communications from Old Dominion University. She most recently served as a Research Coordinator at a market research and digital strategies firm, where she supported data-driven communications and digital strategy initiatives.
