I am so proud to direct this educational documentary about an amazing musical theater.artistic visionary Mrs. Bernadine DeMike. I tend up with her very creative son John who is catchers and dynamic live performances to help demonstrate her passion for teaching about classical music through the arts.

I met her in the early 1980s when she hired me to become a sound designer for some of her theatrical productions. I created original synthesis compositions, edited a great deal of classical music recordings to match her needs for her ballet and other theatrical productions. One of them was at the legendary Shea’s Buffalo Theater for a unique production of Hans Christian Anderson’s “Snow Queen”.

Bernadine trained inspirational dancers and she herself performed for production that I was selected to do with a Buffalo Philharmonic and Darlene edwards for the underground railroad festival atlas I’ll park in 1995.

She assisted me by providing dancers in training them to be in a massive anti-drug rally for 16,000 middle school children in the buffalo sabers hockey arena in the year 2000.

In 2010 she introduced me to amazing Choreographer in West Seneca who provided 1616-year-old dancers to perform on stage to a song I inspired called “Sixteen” for girls 16-year-old birthday parties which was premiered in front of 10,000 teenagers at the Lancaster national speedway now known as the Dunn tire raceway, in the Buffalo, New York area! 

In 2016 she can visit me in New York, she met some of my current protégés and consider putting out a production by the Statue of Liberty for the York Street project. She provided the wardrobe for a young lady in the venture for a special music video we made as part of a class I was teaching. she sat on my 3 Floor Rooftop Terrace for a couple hours with cameras running we talked extensively about her creative life. Someday I hope to release a fall documentary from the musician point of you of how she inspires the lives of so many.

In 2018 she introduced me to Eugenia’s Dance studio Choreographer was Seneca New York are provided an amazing team of dancers for the Buffalo Dyngus day parade song I composed.

In 2021 she provided wardrobe to help me make a music video with the stunning little Sophia Rosado. “Raindrops Keep Falling On My Head” Under my tutelage this nine-year-old has been on stage for over 1 million people already, performing fun songs about mermaids in the biggest mermaid parade in America, and also songs about her Puerto Rican heritage in a national Puerto Rican day parade the biggest parade in America! 

Bernadine is an amazing visionary and has been a true inspiration for me and I hope she will for you as well!

I am almost done updating my SkyRoom Studio (for the 29th time since 1992). The ROLI LUMI’s are awesome. So is the Korg Wavestate! A Seaboard 49 is on its way, a Poly D and and Novation vocoder to enhance the Wavestation and Roland System 1500 Vocoders, a Digitech voice processor (like Dapt Punk) a digital Talk Box and a Real Tube (Peter Frampton-like ...who I have had the honor to meet...) Talk Box!

Maybe someday soon a back wall full of modular gear. Triggered by a “Moog One”... but in all fairness, all of the modular software emulation plugins with my amazing Universal Audio x8p Octo with 14 DSP chips... it sounds pretty realistic! (Arturia Modular, Cherry Hill Modular, Native Instruments, Omnisphere and Umiversal Audio’s Minimoog in LUNA!

Diva N’Kenge just graced SkyRoom Studio’s vocal booth’s Neumann M149 Vacuum tube classic Mic with the Avalon V 37 classic Avalon preamp, into the incredible high-end Universal Audio Apollo X8P, into ProTools for yet another spectacular local performance, all with a view of the world trade center than New York harbor from the windows of the studio!

Translation: She co-wrote the theme song to a new musical about the city of NEWARK, and asked me if I could track the “title song” the demo for her! we once again had a blast!

I tracked LIVE DRUMS by the amazing Edorado “Edward” Cozzi in his studio at UHD 24/96 in Sardinia, Italy and then a few seconds later The stereo file arrived at my studio through the Internet input into the vocal session. It’s for the wonderful song “The Son Of Light”, by Brian Webster. We hope to release it maybe on December 21 when the star of Bethlehem shines for the first time since 1200s or at the very latest Christmas Eve depending at all the vocalists who are now recording with me!

Did you know that my friend John Storyk (www.WSDG.com) designed “Electric Lady” recording studios owned by JIMI HENDRIX? It’s on West 8th Street in Greenwich Village, NYC. I passed it by on Sunday. (I use to pass it by 4 times a week in the 90’s when I was. Professor at NYU! Did you know that his sister Janice Hendrix hired me many times after he passed on, to edit exotic un-released tracks by JIMI because she owned his record company! I hired John to teach my course in “Musical Acoustics” at Stevens Institute of Technology in the mid 2000’s. What an honor to me and my students!

In 2008 I designed the concept of what could have been the LARGEST recording studio and educational facility on Earth for Electronic Music Composition in honor of my FRIEND, the late, great Music Technology LEGEND, Dr. Robert “BOB” Moog, the inventor of the revolutionary “Moog Synthesizers”! I bought my “Minimoog” in the village of “East Aurora”, NY near my hone in “Orchard Park” near the “Buffalo Bills Football Stadium”. Bob accepted my invitation to be the KEYNOTE speaker when I launched my award-winning Bachelor’s Degree in Music Technology at Stevens Institute of Technology! (Imagine that? This compares to having “Michael Jackson” being a keynote speaker for music creation!) the sad thing, we lost the venture because the “president” of the university of “ TECHNILOGY” did not know the “king” of Music Technology, we lost the venture!

Argh!!! Imagine that???

I eventually left academia full-time, and then responded to parents dilemma: “My kid’s addicted to video games, can you teach my kid piano”... by filing for and reviving the United States REGISTERED Trademarks for MusicTech Kids ®️& MusicTech Teens ®️ publishing ventures!

Introducing the creative team behind the first theme song for the next monument induction in America! “HEAL THRU HOPE™️” with UNITY! I will Proudly and very humbly be supervising the production with this team for the opening theme song “BECAUSE OF YOU” , by Bryan Webster. It will be sung by my dear friend and Broadway star, N’KENGE.

Joining me in the producing team is my long time friend Jube Altino and his relative Arden Altino. In a video conference meeting is the associate director Gary Helffenstein of the concert, along with the incredible musician and industry executive Tom Lorentz, and the great music producer, the legendary Van Taylor! 

Together this team has worked with the greats like Bob Hope, Berry Gordy, Quincy Jones, The Fugees, Wyclif Jean, Lauryn Hill, The Beach Boys, Rick James, Kool & the Gang, Chubby Checker, Ashley Avis, Jay Z, P Diddy, Alicia Keys, Justin Bieber and many many more.

N’Kenge has performed at Madison Square Garden, the Barclay center, many other major companies around the world including SOLO in Carnegie Hall within your pops orchestra. She’s also performed in the White House.

I am so humbled and proud to join this amazing team, to give tribute to the African-American war veterans in the monument scheduled for July 3 or September 6 all based on of course the clearing of this pandemic!

I have composed several original songs for the venture, A music video is already done, and I’m hoping to have the best of my fellow Buffalo Music Hall of Fame inducted musicians on stage joined by a symphony orchestra of the best college students in Western New York State. I hope to be using the best recording studios in Buffalo to help contribute to Making of the final sessions, and all the vocals and mixing will be done here at my SkyRoom Studio

Fellow producers, have you use used “SOUND PARTICLES” yet? Back when AES was at the Hilton in NYC, I had a demo of 3D sound software with headphones & blindfolds on. Suddenly I was in a “Barber’s” chair getting a haircut! It was scary! There are many advertisements these days for a “one button“ or “sheep“ mastering services… Mastering is an hour to takes years to develop after you’ve earned at least a bachelors degree in Audio engineering. I giggle every time I see these “one button mastering plug-ins“ for sale these days, or I will master your song for five dollars… I’m sorry it takes years and years to develop the golden years to understand the needs of mastering… I studied when the greatest, Professor David Moulton who created the course “Golden ears“ and was awarded by the audio engineer in society one of the greatest recognition she can earn for being a professor. He has taught some of the greatest mastering engineers. I am mostly a producer but I understand the needs of mastering,

I just did it for a song that I compose with a group of people called “UNITY”. The way from the left is my mix and then you can see the four stages that I felt it needed. Every song needs something different you just don’t press a button and it’s done instantly… I’m sorry marketing entrepreneurs, it’s not done that way!
