Hobbs Public Library

JUST A REMINDER...The Hobbs Public Library will be closed today in observance of Juneteenth. The library will return to normal operating hours tomorrow Saturday, June 20th.

If you picked up a self-paced Take-Home Project for ages 0–5-year-olds for the Summer Reading, this is a reminder that all sheets must be turned in by June 25th. You can leave them at the Front Desk and Ms. Jamie will pick them up. Drawing for the winners will be posted on Facebook on July 1st. If you didn't pick one up, no problem, you can pick one up at the front desk and have it completed and turned in by June 25th.

Sophia is the winner for week 2 of the Teen Summer Reading program. Sophia’s winning entry was for book 5 of the Graphic Novel series “Heart Stopper” by Alice Oseman. Her favorite quote from the book was “I want you to be somewhere you’ll be happy.”

There’s still time to read and get your forms turned in for the next drawing. Information and forms can be picked up at the HPL circulation desk.

Next week our Summer Reading program kicks off! This year we will be requiring everyone to register and sign a waiver so if you'd like to register early, tomorrow will be the last day for early registration, you may still register anytime throughout the program.
