We wanted to give everyone a heads-up that there is a road construction and resurfacing work in front of our facility on Wednesday, June 10. This project is completely outside of our control, but we wanted to make sure everyone is aware of the potential impacts.

Parking will be limited, but both of our parking lots will remain accessible. You can use S. McKinley Street or S. Fowler Street to access the parking lots and for athlete drop-off and pick-up.

Please allow yourself a little extra time when arriving at the gym, as traffic patterns and access may be affected throughout the day.
Important: The road may contain fresh slurry seal, tar, or other resurfacing materials during and after construction. Please follow all posted signs, barricades, and instructions from construction crews. Do not drive on any roadway that has not been reopened to traffic, as doing so could damage both the road surface and your vehicle. Zia Cheer is not responsible for any vehicle damage resulting from driving on closed or freshly resurfaced roadways.

Tumbling Classes
If your athlete is enrolled in a tumbling class and you would prefer to avoid the construction, you are welcome to skip class and schedule a makeup class later this month. Our coaches will mark your athlete absent, and you can schedule a makeup class afterward through the Parent Portal.

All Star Cheer Teams
All Star athletes are still expected to attend their scheduled practices. Please plan for extra travel time and use the alternate access routes listed above.

We know this may be an inconvenience, and we truly appreciate everyone's patience and flexibility while the City completes this project.

💚 We’re Hiring: All Star Cheer Coach 🖤

Zia Cheer is looking for an energetic, dependable, and motivated coach to join our All Star program!

This position will help coach our Level 1 Novice and Prep teams, working with athletes ages 4–12. The right person must enjoy working with kids, be confident leading a class, and work well with other coaches as part of a team.

Position Details:
• Minimum of 10–15 hours per week
• Option for more hours through private lessons or additional classes
• Starting at $18/hour
• Raise to $20/hour after 90 days
• Required travel to competitions 5–6 times per year
• Travel, hotel, and meal per diem are paid by Zia Cheer

What we’re looking for:
• At least 18 Years Old
• Someone who is a team player
• Willing to learn and grow
• Confident, energetic, and not afraid to lead
• Able to manage and control a class
• Cheer experience is a huge plus, but not required if you are eager to learn
