Congratulations to our very own Tyler Martelli on performing on the biggest stage in country music, The Grand Ole Opry!

2011 Throwback! Senior Round up was an annual showdown where senior advisory classes went head-to-head for the grand prize and major bragging rights! Great memories, great wildcats!

We want to take a moment to thank the incredible public servants who dedicate their time, talent, and heart to serving the City of Chattanooga — and who just so happen to be proud Hixson High alumni!

Our Alumni Pop-Up Cookout was a huge success — thank you to everyone who came out and made it special! From reconnecting with old friends to sharing stories and laughter over great food, the Wildcat spirit was alive and well.

Wanted to share something close to my heart — we’ve created a scholarship for a 2026 Hixson High senior in honor of my brother, Derek Chastain (Class of 1999). It’s not your typical academic scholarship — it’s meant for a student who’s maybe had some struggles, faced tough stuff, and is still trying to make thoughtful, purposeful choices for their future.

We wanted to give back to our school and community in Derek’s memory, and hopefully encourage a student who just needs someone to believe in them.
