It’s all in the details…and the lighting🎥 “Simple shots” usually take more effort than people think. This is a before and after example. First is just the camera pointed at the subject. Second is how it could look with the same camera/lens + proper lighting + attention to detail. Third is the setup used to help bring it to life.

Color grading is so important in productions. Typically productions will shoot their footage in a "flat" picture profile. This helps later in post when the footage is colored exactly how they want it. The flat profile helps give as much freedom to the colorist to build the look of the film.

Being in video production, I spend a lot of time editing my clients projects. This is oftentimes not glamorous work as you might think, but in reality it’s watching the footage 200 times, listening to the same song 100 times, countless decisions, re-edits, and sometimes hitting creative walls.

But there is nothing like watching a vision come to life. It’s often times a little different than I envisioned, but it still sends a thrill through my mind.

I love what I get to do.
