Responsible for preparing all aspects of the project estimate. Must have the ability to do accurate and thorough quantity takeoffs, and to communicate effectively with subcontractors, vendors and clients. This position interacts with all internal groups and communicates pertinent information to same.

Desired Skills and Experience:
• 2-10 years related experience on HVAC / plumbing projects
• Quantitative, analytical or mechanical systems-related field or equivalent experience with demonstrated quantitative and analytical skills
• Ability to read, understand, and all contract documents and conduct a thorough review of same
• Strong analytical and conceptual skills
• Skills to prepare and complete all phases of quantity survey work and pricing
• Attend walk-throughs and determine factors that will affect the cost estimate
• Possess strong computer and mathematical skills and perform accurate analysis within deadlines
• Basic understanding of labor reports, cost codes, estimates entry, etc.
• Ability to self-manage tasks, and be able to plan and prioritize to meet deadlines established by supervisors on multiple projects at once
• Ability to interact with project and scheduling personnel and vendors to understand and contribute to schedule preparation
• Must be a self-starter and extremely detail-oriented
• Possess excellent people and communication skills

Compensation is negotiable based on experience and qualifications.

Role Description
This is a full-time role located in Massachusetts/New Hampshire, The Project Manager will oversee and coordinate plumbing and HVAC projects from conception to completion. Responsibilities include managing project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards, coordinating logistics, expediting materials and services, and maintaining clear communication with clients and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will ensure smooth project operations and deliver exceptional results aligned with client expectations.

Qualifications
• Proven expertise in Project Management, with strong planning and organizational abilities.
• Experience in expeditor roles, including ensuring timely delivery of equipment, materials. and tasks.
• Proficiency in Inspection and quality assurance to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
• Strong skills in logistics management, particularly in coordinating resources and schedules.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with plumbing, HVAC systems, and construction industry practices is highly advantageous.
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business Management, or a related field preferred, not required.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools is a plus.

Offers rapid turndown and fast start/stop, useful for batch operations and demand response.

Steam (common in process industries): select pressure class to match use points (e.g., 7–15 barg for general process, higher for specific equipment).

Our team looks forward to partnering with Moriarty and Dartmouth to provide high-performance mechanical systems that support comfort, sustainability, and long-term reliability.
The buildings will house 115 juniors and seniors in apartment-style suites, with wellness and creative spaces for music and podcasts. The project supports President Sian Leah Beilock’s plan to add at least 1,000 beds, enabling 90%+ on-campus living and easing housing pressures in the Upper Valley. The completion date is 2028.
