Today didn't turn out as expected. Instead of celebrating CRIB's 13th birthday, we spent the day cleaning up after the shop was broken into overnight (last slide).

This is the first time in 13 years that we have dealt with vandalism. It's such a violation to have someone in your space that doesn't have good intentions, but I am grateful that no one was injured and the suspect is in custody. Mahalo to HPD for your swift action last night!

CRIB is such a happy space where our community comes together to celebrate huge life milestones like births and birthdays, and it will continue to be that no matter what curve ball gets thrown at us. 👊

CRIB started as a dream on a napkin and Pinterest board I created with my mom at lunch one day and here we are, 13 years later, and I still feel like it's just the beginning!
