"I choose to substitute because I value the opportunity to support students and schools in meaningful ways. Stepping into different classrooms allows me to build connections, provide consistency, and help maintain a positive learning environment, especially during times when students may need extra stability.

It is also incredibly meaningful to me to be there for our teachers—so they can step away when needed knowing they have someone they trust to support their students and keep learning moving forward. I enjoy being part of students’ growth and learning, and I appreciate the chance to make a difference, even in a short amount of time."
