Cat's Cradle Rescue
Cat’s Cradle Rescue is an all-volunteer non-profit rescue group formed to promote the well-being and adoptability of local Oregon cats.
Everyone understands the problem with cat over-population and the need for Spay and Neuter programs. The question is WHAT DO WE DO WITH THE CATS (and kittens) ALREADY BORN? Cat's Cradle Rescue keeps cats out of shelters by offering an alternative to a cage - we are a no-kill FOSTER-HOME BASED rescue group that welcomes cats to our home environments as they await adoption. Meet Monroe - complete with the traditional "beauty mark" that her film-star look alike is famous for. (LOL)
She ws rescued after a short time as a stray and
Monroe has blossomed into a confident, affectionate, and delightfully quirky companion. Born on March 1, 2023, she’s young, playful, and full of personality.
Monroe is a self-proclaimed princess who knows what she likes: high perches, cozy sun spots, and a home where she can reign supreme. She’s equal parts silly, clumsy, and charming, and she’ll keep you smiling with her antics.
She thrives in a strictly indoor home, and would absolutely love a catio or sunroom where she can safely enjoy the outdoors.
Monroe can bond deeply with other cats—but it’s on her terms. With proper introductions, she may enjoy a feline friend, and she can also do well with cat-savvy, respectful dogs. That said, she’d be just as happy being the center of attention as your one and only.
She’s looking for an experienced cat lover who understands that trust takes time. Give her patience, and she’ll reward you with sweet snuggles and a loyal bond. This pretty young female lives in Damascus with her rescuer. Monroe is truly priceless—her $300 adoption fee will be donated directly to Cats Cradle Rescue to help more cats in need. Monroe is an indoor cat.

Looking for your one-and-only kitty? Check out sweet Melody! Melody is an incredibly sweet and affectionate indoor-only young 2-year-old kitty who absolutely loves being around her people. If you’re looking for a constant companion, she’ll happily follow you from room to room and keep you company every step of the way.
She does wonderfully with babies and toddlers, making her a great fit for a family with young children. Melody thrives on human attention and would love a home where she can soak up all the love she deserves.
Melody would do best as the only cat in the home, as she prefers to have her space and her humans all to herself. In return, she’ll give you endless cuddles and devotion.
One small thing to note—Melody gets a little too excited at mealtime and may eat too quickly, so she’ll need a watchful eye during feeding time to help keep her comfortable and healthy.
If you’re ready to welcome a loving, people-oriented kitty into your home, Melody could be the perfect match. She’s a wonderful companion who will love you endlessly and bring warmth to your home every day. Melody lives in Beaverton with her family and her rehoming fee is $25. Melody is indoor only.

Beautiful and fluffy ASTRID # is waiting for a new home! Astrid is a gentle 8-year-old calico- tortoiseshell girl looking for a stable, long-term home where she can finally relax and feel safe. She’s naturally shy at first, but once she warms up, her sweet personality really shines—she loves lounging nearby, keeping you company, and even playing fetch with her favorite hair tie.
Astrid has a trauma history, so she needs to be the only pet in the home—no other cats or dogs. She thrives in a predictable environment and would do especially well with someone who works from home or is around often. She makes a wonderful quiet companion and “background buddy.”
Due to ongoing financial instability and frequent moves, her current home is no longer able to provide the consistency she needs, and it’s been very stressful for her. She deserves a calm, secure space where she can truly settle in and live a happy, fulfilling life. Sweet Astrid lives in Portland with her family and her rehoming fee is $50. Astrid is indoor only.

Sake has been around other pets and kids, but would be happiest as the only indoor pet where she can have all your love to herself. Sake is inidoor only and her rehoming fee is $75. Sake lives in Hillsboro with her owner.

Machi is a 2-year-old tabby & white boy who requires human connection. He isn’t the kind of cat who can fade into the background — he needs his human close in a friendly way, not clingy.
This sweet, affectionate boy lives for forehead bonks, belly rubs, and curling up right on top of you. He’ll follow you from room to room, “talk” to you throughout the day, and make sure you never feel alone. Machi doesn’t just want a home — he wants his person.
He warms up quickly to new people and is incredibly loving, but he must be the only pet. Sharing attention is stressful for him, and he truly thrives when he has his human all to himself.
Medical:
Machi has IBD, but it’s very manageable. He takes his daily meds easily, eats his prescription Royal Canin HP diet, and is doing great. His medication is only about $15/month. With a consistent routine, he’s a happy, comfortable cat. Machi lives in Portland with his owner and his rehoming fee is $25. Machi is indoor only.
