June 10 is National Iced Tea Day to celebrate one of summer's favorite refreshing drinks. Iced tea is the second most popular beverage in the world, following water. The oldest tea remains date to around 453BC. Archeologists from Shandong University and the University of Science and Technology found 2,400 year old tea remains in a royal tomb in the Shandong province.

Now grab some iced tea (in a plastic container) and enjoy some rays by our pool! ☀️

The Ocean Project has coordinated the June 8 World Oceans Day for the past 17 years. It’s a crucial environmental issue. We get both foods and medicines from the deep blue, and it helps to keep the climate in check. Oh, and there’s this thing about water being the “lungs of the earth” — as it turns out, the majority of oxygen we breathe comes from the ocean. We always felt that the waves breathed some life into us. (Alright, once or twice it was the lifeguard, but that doesn’t diminish the worth of one our most valuable resources.) However, if we don’t take the steps to conserve it, we’ll lose a lot more than a spot for a weekend getaway. So dive in and do your part to keep big blue going strong. 🌊🐳🐬🦭🩵

Meet Pippa, the Pet of the Month for June!🐾

Solana Lucent Station is as dog-friendly as a community gets! Meet sweet Elliot. He is a toothless prince of a pup, one of the smallest dogs that live here. He sees the clubhouse and has to come check it out every time.

On Thursday June 4th (this week) Shelvis will be playing a free concert from 6:30 - 8:00 pm. They are a rockabilly band with a dedicated local following.
