Did you know invasive aquatic species can threaten Colorado’s drinking water supply? Aquatic Nuisance Species (ANS) are invasive plants and animals that can harm the ecosystems in lakes, reservoirs, rivers and streams. These species can spread easily on paddleboards, kayaks, rafts, fishing equipment, canoes, inner-tubes, and other water gear. If you're heading out on the water this summer, help protect Colorado’s water resources by remembering to clean, drain, and dry your water gear. Learn more and take action: cpw.info/PainIntheANS
