We are proud to announce our collaboration with performance innovator , implementing the novel Zpipe exhaust technology into the SSC Tuatara platform. This non-stock option bolsters the customizable performance and exotic sound that owners can apply to their road-legal or track-only Tuatara hypercars off the production floor. The Zpipe exhaust replaces the standard exhaust system that is included in the standard production Tuatara, offering elevated performance packaged within functional art. Within the complex design of the exhaust is purposefully crafted geometry that invokes a scavenging effect, allowing a full mixture of the entire engine's exhaust, both improving engine efficiency and performance.

The Tuatara is equipped with several aerodynamic passages beginning at the nose of the car, where the first 2 of 11 radiators/coolers on the car reside, then exits out the front wheel wells. Another set of 4 twisting air passages begins behind the doors where the remaining 9 radiators/coolers for the power plant and gearbox are housed. Air then enters into its final stage of passage through the Tuatara, smoothly exiting through the massive openings in the rear bumper where it completes its task of cooling the large amount of heat produced by the 1750 HP V8. This, in conjunction with the Tuatara being a closed-bottom car with rear venturi tunnels, speaks to how air moves through and around the Tuatara efficiently, without drastically affecting aerodynamic drag. This puts the drag coefficient of the Tuatara at 0.279, which is in company with the lowest in the industry.
