🐾 Every coat tells us something different.

A Golden Retriever, a Shih Tzu, a Poodle, a Beagle, and a Lab may all need grooming — but they definitely do not need the exact same grooming plan.

That’s why breed-specific grooming matters.

Different coats need different care when it comes to brushing, bathing, drying, trimming, shedding control, skin comfort, and overall maintenance.

At Hydrant, our grooming team and grooming academy students learn how to look at the whole dog — coat type, breed needs, comfort level, lifestyle, and health — so each pup gets care that actually fits them.

Because grooming is not just about making dogs look cute.

It’s about helping them feel clean, comfortable, healthy, and loved. 💙

From fluffy coats to short coats, curls, double coats, and everything in between — we’re here to help pets look and feel their best.

There’s a calming chew at our front desk named after one of the loudest nights of the year.

It’s called July Third — and that’s not a coincidence. Herbsmith created it for the fireworks season, when dogs need help feeling settled, not sedated.

It’s made with a natural blend of chamomile, valerian, passion flower, and tryptophan. No heavy drowsiness, no grogginess — just gentle support to help take the edge off when the booms start outside.

For best results, give it about 2 hours before dusk. It lasts around 12 hours, and another dose can be given if the neighborhood keeps the fireworks going.

We’ve got it in stock at the front desk if your pup could use a little extra calm this week. 🐾

🐱 Take Your Cat to Work Day is today… and we’re here for it.

Whether your cat would calmly sit on your desk or immediately become the office manager, we love any reason to celebrate our feline friends. 😸

If your kitty is joining you for the day, remember to keep things calm, comfy, and cat-friendly. A carrier, familiar blanket, water, and a quiet space can make all the difference.

And if your cat would rather work from home? We fully support that, too. 💜
