On November 15th, The Ripple Co, in partnership with and the amazing faculty and students at the , adapted over 30 toys for children in the community.
We also had the opportunity to teach the University students how to solder and adapt toys, giving them valuable hands-on experience with assistive technology.
Together, we’re building skills, spreading accessibility, and making a real impact one toy at a time.

In partnership with , we had our Holiday Toy Adapt-Thon on November 8th. We adapted 15 toys for children with disabilities in our community and we also taught members of the Gainesville Rotaract Club and new Roaring Riptide students how to solder and adapt toys. Were making an impact in our community, one ripple at a time!

Meet one of our members, Brooklyn Prescott! She is 19 years old and in her 2nd year at Florida Polytechnic University, where she is studying Electrical Engineering. Ever since joining her high school robotics team, FRC Team 4118: Roaring Riptide, and participating in the Project Lead The Way (PLTW) engineering pathway, Brooklyn has developed a strong passion for robotics, engineering, soldering, assistive technology, and outreach. She is excited to continue building on these interests throughout her college journey!
