We did it in!
That's the back of the house held up on temporary steel while the crew excavated underneath. The family had outgrown the floor plan and had no interest in leaving the street, so we went down and then we went up. Three floors.

Basement — a space for the kids
Main floor — new family room, dining, full bathroom
Second floor — master suite
Three times the house.
