Introducing Cuadras Fabric By The Yard.
Plaids are a designer favorite for a reason. They’re timeless, versatile, and layer effortlessly across design styles, from traditional to contemporary. Cuadras takes that familiar pattern and reinterprets it through the lens of Guatemalan craftsmanship.
Handwoven by Gudi on a traditional footloom, this textile draws inspiration from the plaid huipiles of Santiago Atitlán. Each horizontal line is placed by hand, row by row, through an incredibly precise weaving process. The subtle variation, texture, and character of handweaving give this plaid a depth that simply can’t be replicated by machine.

A lot of designers are trying to solve the same problem right now: how do you make a space feel personal when everyone has access to the same references, vendors, and imagery?
For us, it often comes down to originality and connection to home.
Handwoven textiles carry a depth that manufactured fabrics cannot replicate, giving a room the texture, character, and sense of place that make it feel truly collected.

A new home for the Estrella Large Lumbar Pillow. 🤎
Classic, tailored, and quietly modern, Estrella brings a graphic layer to an interior without overwhelming the space. The repeated star motif, a symbol of guidance and protection in Maya tradition, adds meaning to a piece designed to work beautifully across traditional, transitional, and contemporary rooms.

A first look at our Óvalo Fabric in an upcoming Regan Billingsley Interiors project.
Woven using the rare falsería technique, the oval motif adds a softness and rhythm that feels both architectural and organic. Seeing these textiles move beyond pillows and throws and into fully custom pieces is one of the most exciting parts of the process.

There is a different kind of inspiration that happens when you slow down enough to fully take in a place. The sound of women weaving in open doorways. The smell of wood smoke drifting through the streets in the morning. Volcanic stone, fresh tortillas, worn cobblestones, layers of color and texture everywhere you look.
For Regan, travel is never just about sourcing. It is about immersion. Sitting with artisans. Walking through markets. Listening more than speaking. Understanding how craft exists within everyday life and why preserving these traditions matters.
RB Curated was built from that experience. Not just from seeing Guatemala, but from returning again and again to better understand it.

Artisan Spotlight: Cooperative Cojolya
Founded in 1996 in the aftermath of the Guatemalan Civil War, Cojolya emerged as a response to the scarcity of work in Santiago Atitlán. Its mission is to provide fair, dignified employment to local artisans while also offering vital social support within the community. Today, Cojolya serves up to 40 artisans and their families, extending assistance in both healthcare and education.
Santiago is especially known for its exquisite hand-embroidered huipiles—intricate works of art that can take up to four months to complete.
