Asian Loft has become well known for the quality and originality of its pieces. Each one is unique and has been personally selected in China or Japan. Collected in their original condition they are then brought to the USA where a team of skilled craftsmen restore the pieces back to their original glory. Asian Loft offers a unique ‘Authentication Certificate’ when you purchase a genuine Chinese or Japanese antique piece.

Selecting stools and spring benches, one by one.

Each piece is chosen from piles of hundreds, with close attention paid to what remains original, the quality of the wood, the shape, and the character that time has given it.

It’s a careful process of looking beyond the surface to find pieces worth bringing home.

Finding inspiration at local antique markets in China.

Every visit offers something new to discover. Handcrafted details, unique forms, and objects rich with history make these markets a constant source of inspiration. Wandering through the aisles, we’re reminded of the beauty of age, character, and craftsmanship—elements that continue to influence the pieces we are drawn to and the stories they carry.

It’s often in these unexpected moments of discovery that new ideas begin to take shape.

Sculpted from richly patterned blue calcite, the Ocean Mist Calcite Bowl captures the tranquil movement of natural stone. Swirling shades of blue, misty gray, and subtle earthy accents unfold across its hand-shaped form, revealing crystalline structures formed over millennia. The organic silhouette enhances its sculptural presence, while the polished surface brings out the stone’s quiet luminosity. Each bowl is entirely unique — a refined statement piece that embodies both strength and serenity.

What makes each piece at Asian Loft so special is the story and craftsmanship behind it.

These milk pots from Southeast India were once used daily to collect milk from local cows before being carefully restored by hand. From repairing years of wear to reapplying the original rope details, every pot goes through an incredibly thoughtful process before receiving a contemporary finish.

Each one is individually inspected and selected by hand, because it’s the imperfections, texture, and history that give these pieces their character and make them uniquely Asian Loft.
