Esto no significa que todos los casos estén negados o cancelados, pero sí que algunos expedientes pueden tardar más o recibir revisiones adicionales.

Cada caso sigue siendo evaluado de forma individual. Por eso, si usted tiene un trámite pendiente, lo más importante es revisar sus notificaciones oficiales y mantenerse informado con fuentes confiables.

🚨‼️Duke Energy is implementing scheduled rate increases in 2026 across several service areas, with Carolinas customers facing a 3% hike as part of a multi-year plan.

Did you know that Duke Energy reported $4.9 billion in profit in 2025, yet they are asking residential customers to pay even more for essential services.

At the same time, disconnection rates across Duke Energy Carolinas (DEC) and Duke Energy Progress (DEP) have risen sharply over the past year. That means more households are already having their power shut off because they simply can’t afford their bills.

Increasing rates now will only make that problem worse.

Electricity is not a luxury — it’s a necessity.

North Carolina residents do not get to choose their electric provider, and when a monopoly controls a basic utility, it is critical that pricing remains fair and reasonable.
When consumers have no alternative, strong oversight and protection from excessive rate increases is essential.

I know a lot of us are outraged by these ridiculously high Duke Energy bills & if you didn’t know, PUBLIC HEARINGS to approve/deny the rate hike begin on March 30th of this year! It’s just weeks away!

Be relentless. Tell them what you think of their constant rate hikes when Duke Energy is consistently raking in billions in profit annually and constantly asking for more money to fund projects with a high ROI ✨that they pocket✨️
