Cynt Marshall, Dallas Mavericks CEO, is officially High Point University's Sport Executive in Residence! More information on her on-campus visit is coming soon!

Welcome Cynt Marshall, HPU's new Sports Executive in Residence! Ms. Marshall will mentor students from the sport management major. Our students will benefit from hearing firsthand about the challenges of working in the professional sports industry. But, perhaps more importantly, Ms. Marshall will help them understand how to navigate complex organizational situations and how to use communication to bring people together. These are the life skills that will set our students apart when they enter their professions.

Over the weekend, 15 students traveled to The George Washington University for Sports Industry Networking & Career Conference. Thank you SGA-High Point University for making this trip possible!

Students had the opportunity to learn and network with industry professionals through round table discussions, panels and Keynote speakers. Additionally, students interviewed with organizations for internships and jobs!
