Audio Visual Technician
Job Description
Run or assist in running audio & video equipment for events
Load-ins and load-outs for each event.
Prep gear and load and unload gear in the shop
Troubleshoot technical problems Perform other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Applicants must be at least 21 years old.
Valid U.S. Driver’s license
Knowledge of how to roll up cables and cords correctly.
Basic knowledge of lighting console operation, lighting design, and show programming.
Basic knowledge of professional audio equipment operation.
Basic troubleshooting skills, basic repair skills
Basic knowledge of video cameras and video switching.
Basic knowledge of PC / Mac hardware and software.
Comfortable working on an 8-foot ladder.
Ability to move up to 40 lbs, and standing for long periods of time.
Be enthusiastic about learning current and new Audio, Video, Lighting equipment techniques.
This is a highly technical field that changes rapidly, and we are always learning new technology.
On-the-job training for many of the above listed specific skills necessary for our work will be provided; however, candidates will be expected to know and understand as employment progresses.

Schedule:
This is a job that requires availability to work during the daytime, some late evenings, and Saturdays. Candidates would need to be able to work indoors and outdoors in weather conditions.
Part-Time Salary: Salary Negotiable with advancement and pay options

Run Road Hog III lighting console with a variety of moving lights for corporate and wedding events.
Load-ins and load-outs for each event.
Troubleshoot technical problems
Responsible for the cleaning, maintenance, repair, upkeep, and proper functioning of equipment.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Applicants must be at least 21 years old.

Ability to adapt to a physically demanding role that encompasses lifting, moving up to 70 lbs, and standing for long periods of time.
Possess in-depth knowledge of lighting systems along with the various signal types, cable types, hardware, tools, and software used to run them.
Be enthusiastic about learning current and new Audio, Video, Lighting equipment techniques. This is a highly technical field that changes rapidly, and we are always learning new technology.
